Do you get wet on a jet ski?

Updated May 2026 Read 3 min Puerto Portals · Mallorca

If you've never ridden a jet ski, it's normal to have questions. The most common: will I get wet? Yes, and it's part of the fun. We answer this and other common questions before your first tour.

Will I get wet?

Yes, you'll get wet, and it's part of the fun. With the speed, the splashes and the swimming stops, it makes sense to wear swimwear. Don't come in clothes you don't want to get wet.

🌶️

Bring swimwear, a towel and sun protection. We provide the rest. Book here.

Where do I leave my phone and things?

The jet skis have a waterproof compartment for your phone and small items. And don't worry about photos: the instructor takes photos of your experience, included in the tour.

Will I be cold?

In high season (May-October) the water and the air are warm, so no. If you have doubts about the specific day, ask us when booking.
